Hi there . . . so where am I with Music in my life today? Well no-way would I go out playing piano commercially again in my 70s. In fact I gave up almost completely in my 30s in favour of working as a Magician alongside my wife, as the money and feedback was considerably greater. We really prospered over 4 decades. I started off in a dancing school playing for kids when I was only a kid myself. I then did Function Bands, Clubs mostly on Hammond Organ, 5 star hotels as a pianist, a large Holiday/Vacation company for 4 years etc.
It was not until 2006 that I started playing online. This led to a few gigs, but I soon got fed up with this. We don't need any extra money. We set ourselves up for a very comfortable retirement.
So what do I think about online playing? It can be fun. At the same time Charts are being manipulated whether here, Reverbnation or elsewhere. So you can't take any of this seriously.
But yes, - music enriches your life, especially playing an instrument like Piano, Guitar - or any self sufficient instrument like Keyboards, Organ, Piano Accordian etc.
